Frequently asked questions
How do I get the GPX file of my route?
If you recorded your route using apps like Strava, Komoot, AllTrails, or Garmin, you can usually export the GPX file directly from the app. Just search online for “How to download GPX from [app name]” for step-by-step instructions. Don’t have a GPX file? No worries – you can create one using free tools like GPS Visualizer or other online route planners. It’s easier than it sounds – and if you get stuck, we’re happy to help!
Can I use any GPX track?
Yes! You can upload any GPX track – whether it’s a hike, bike ride, run, or even a road trip. Just make sure the file is in GPX format and clearly shows the route you want turned into a 3D model.

Longer routes and those with more elevation changes tend to be more dramatic and visually striking – but even simpler routes can look amazing.
